I think it's our duty as teenagers to make dumb mistakes and say dumb things, it's how we learn and grow up. Adults seem to forget this while sitting atop there high horses and expect everyone to be perfect all the time. Policing Facebook is an invasion of privacy and a restriction of free speech. Already a majority of our rights are taking as we walk through the school door, but to take them away even when were outside of school isn't right and besides that's our parents jobs. I understand that there are extreme circumstances of kids saying they'll shoot up schools however I'm pretty sure if somebody posted this on Facebook another student would probably see it and would report it. Also in regards to bullying. Kids will be mean no matter what watching them on Facebook won't stop them they will find other ways.

Yes I think it is. Whenever a school needs to make budget cuts the first things to go are the creative programs. I also don't really think schools provide students with enough opportunity to be creative and it's not even a lack of creative classes and programs. In the class in general there's usually only one way to answer the question or do the work granted it also depends on the teacher but overall there's not much thinking out of the box.
